ABC late-night host Jimmy Kimmel poked fun at Donald Trump after Trump canceled an appearance on Tuesday’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”. “A lot of them are coming to the show and we’re going to recreate our class photo”, he said.
‘I don’t know what you’re doing but you look great, you really do, ‘ Kimmel had told Murray.
The host continued his barrage: “I’m dying to find out what this major political commitment was”. Kimmel did not miss an opportunity to publicly call out Trump on last night’s episode for his “cryptic” cancelation.
Jimmy Kimmel still isn’t quite sure why Donald Trump did not appear on the Tuesday installment of his talk show.
Bernie Sanders also appeared on Kimmel during the show’s one-week run in Brooklyn this week.
Trump was not scheduled to be interviewed by Jimmy that night, Variety reports but he was supposed to be a part of a sketch that would have aired after the first guest’s interview.
“And now he’s glad he didn’t come, I guess”, Kimmel smiled, as his audience booed Trump in absentia.
Adding a reference of Trump’s controversial comments about Mexican immigrants, Kimmel said: “The good news of Donald not being here tonight is, now we don’t have to build a wall around Guillermo“.
However, Trump was a no-show. Even President Barack Obama read mean tweets about himself. Jimmy told me he has hundreds of friends and family members like his uncle Tony and Aunt Joanne coming to watch him work this week.
