As evident with the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy Note 5, Samsung isn’t afraid to use high-end materials for its smartphones.
Both the handsets were first reported by PhoneRadar and it claims that the Galaxy On7 packs a 5.5-inch screen with 720×1280 pixels.
During this year’s Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin (IFA) event, the South Korean tech giant announced that it is making an oversized tablet, and now rumor has it that the Samsung Galaxy View will be launched in October. Based on leaked information from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), the new device has a display measuring 18.4 inches, according to HNGN.
Of course, this all hearsay and as much fun as it is to speculate on what Samsung might be thinking. nothing is set in stone until we hear it directly from the horse’s mouth.
You may have to don a costume and go trick-or-treating if you want to score free candy on Halloween, but no such accessories will be necessary to snag a few free hardware from T-Mobile a weekend ahead of time.
As amusing as the screen is, the specs are surprisingly midrange. The display’ specs resemble the ones find in midrange smartphones. Specifically it is the 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution, clearly not the sharpest but it’s not bad at all, it’s basically all you need.
It runs on an octa-core Samsung Exynos 7 Octa series chipset, with a 1.6 GHZ ARM Cortex A53 and Cortex A57 CPU, along with an ARM Mali t720 GPU, and an OpenGL ES 3.1 3D API.
The front camera will be a 2 MP camera, which seems practical. The HTC One M9 only slightly improves upon the M8, understandably because the M8 was such a capable phone that there is little room to move up from there within the space of time it took for the M9 to launch.
Though these are still very early rumors, we tend to see that most of such rumors tend to be very accurate. Samsung is now planning to introduce a new Sub-premium class just below Premium, that would offer powerful, higher-end phones for a cheaper price.
