Do not invest more money than you can afford to lose.
Both the games have been silently re-revealed a few months ago, and are playable at Paris Games Week 2015, but from then we have no news about any possible release date or feature list. Well, three-and-a-half years later, Sony and Quantic Dream have announced Project Kara will become a game, and that game is named Detroit.
We don’t have much indication of how Detroit will play, although if it’s like past Quantic Dream games, it will likely revolve around Kara wandering around a futuristic Detroit having “experiences” and adventures you’ll engage with via motion controls and quicktime button presses.
We’ll update this article as Detroit: Become Human release date rumours, speculation and evidence emerges, so check back regularly for updates. It’s a sci-fi game created by Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls developer Quantic Dream, so we expect it’ll be another big hit among gamers. The PS4 game follows the sophisticated android character Kara from Quantic Dream’s previous tech demo.
So we imagined our world in a near future where androids like Kara would look, speak, and move like real human beings.
While a story involving artificial intelligence (A.I.) and emotions isn’t exactly original, David Cage – the game’s director, stated that this would be more about the human aspect than the android one. It was about an android who discovered she could feel emotions and appeared to be sentient. But even in spite of all of that, I can’t help but be enamored by the promise of Detroit: Be Human- the game’s theme and subject matter resonates very well with me, as a fan of science fiction media.
