Vauxhall says the potential issue only relates to vehicles with manual or no air-conditioning built between 2005 and 2014 – in effect, the Mk2 Zafira, known as Zafira B. The first generation and the current Zafira Tourer are not affected; nor are Mk2 Zafiras with automatic climate control.
Nearly a quarter of a million Zafira MPVs are being recalled by Vauxhall after more than 100 of them have burst into flames.
Within 30 seconds of getting 10-month-old son Kinsley to safety the auto became engulfed in flames, she said.

A mother from Wiltshire has been describing how her baby son was almost killed when her Zafira exploded.
