Do not invest more money than you can afford to lose.

APT Systems (APTY.PK), a software company, specializing in solutions for the financial sector, announced that it had selected for potential acquisition a forex trading system and has started additional testing. The forex trading component will be integrated into its propriety equity trading system.

According to the announcement, the undisclosed current owner of the forex trading system, which was developed 5 years ago, has engaged one of the developers to trade on it using cash. The goal is to establish how well the indicators currently perform.

“It has been an exciting few months with APTY being fully quoted on the OTC and we now have the ability to move forward with our software development plans,” says Glenda Dowie, head of APT Systems.

APT Systems was established in 2010. It is developing equity trading platforms for hand held devices and is strategically acquiring other financial businesses. The applications use APT’s proprietary algorithm models. The company also develops customizable charting tools reflecting real time and delayed data, with advanced visual graphic techniques and publishes e-books on trading strategies. According to the company website, its products are in their testing stages and will soon be released in for beta testing by selected users.

The most popular retail forex trading systems are MetaTrader 4 and 5, as well as cTrader. Some of the major forex brokers, like FXPro, have their own proprietary trading platforms, in addition to the most popular ones. There are also cloud-based and social trading platforms. The majority of the popular trading platforms have web and mobile versions.
