IFC Markets, an offshore forex and contracts for difference (CFDs) broker, said on Tuesday it has released an updated Windows version of NetTradeX, its own proprietary trading platform designed for forex and CFDs trading, with slight enhancements, including the option to select the currency of an account when opening a demo account.
The broker has also introduced some other improvements to the NetTradeX platform, such as a new pop-up window with tooltip with instrument parameters that appears when rolling over the instrument line where real prices are. Users also have increased opportunities to create PCI since USD may now be placed in both basic and quoted parts.
Lastly, IFC Markets has improved the interface of the platform’s list of instruments.
IFC Markets refers to NetTradeX as a trading-analytical terminal. The platform was released in 2006 and offers for trade a wide choice of forex pairs, indices, stock and commodity contracts for difference (CFDs). It is available for desktop devices with Windows operating system, as well as for mobile devices with iOS, Android, and Windows Mobile operating systems.
In addition to the NetTradeX, IFC Markets also supports MetaTrader 4 (MT4), the world’s most widely used forex trading platform. It offers four types of live trading accounts – Standard and Micro on the MT4 and Standard and Beginner accounts on NetTradeX, as well as demo accounts, which allow training trading with virtual money. Islamic accounts are also available.
IFC Markets offers trading in more than 500 tradable instruments. In addition to index CFDs, the broker also provides forex, CFDs on commodities, stock , commodity futures, as well as gold and personal composite instruments (PCI).
IFC Markets is the trading brand of IFCMarkets Corp, which is part of financial technologies holding company IFCM Group. It is based in the British Virgin Islands and is licensed by the local financial regulator, the Financial Services Commission (FSC). The group also includes online forex broker Infin Markets, which is licensed by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC), and financial software developer NetTradeX Corp.
