Land-FX, an FCA-regulated forex broker, has signed a two-year sponsorship deal with the London football club Queens Park Rangers.
Under the deal, the broker’s logo will be displayed on the footballers’ shorts and training wear for the 2016-2017 season. The logo will debut at the team’s friendly match on Friday night against Aldershot Town.
“Having just successfully acquired our FCA license, we are very proud to be partnering QPR who offer us a unique platform to target our key markets,” said Shashi patel, senior relationship manager of Land-FX. “Our partnership also emphasises the synergies between football and trading, where preparation and execution are keys to success.
“We are absolutely delighted that Land-FX have agreed to partner with us, as they embark on successfully entering the UK market,” said Euan Inglis, commercial director of Queens Park Rangers.
This is not the first sports partnership Land-FX has. It is also a business partner of the German football club Mainz05.
The sponsorship and partnership deals between forex and binaries brokers and various popular sports club proved to be a rather popular advertising vehicle for the companies. The majority of them are preferring the football clubs, as this is the most popular sport across the world. Just recently the binaries broker 24option, for example, extended its partnership deal with the Italian champion Juventus for another year. But there are some brokers who prefer other sports, such as IG Group, which are sponsoring the English rugby club Harlequins.
Land-FX was established in 2013. It offers trading in forex and CFDs with a leverage of up to 1:500 and a minimum deposit of $300. The broker is regulated by UK’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and has offices in Europe, Russia, USA, New Zealand, Japan, China and several South East Asian countries.
