Forex broker FXOpen now accepts millibitcoin (mBTC) as deposit currency

The UK forex broker FXOpen announced it has added mBTC (millibitcoin) as a currency in which clients can open ECN trading accounts. Besides deposits, the broker also allows withdrawals in mBTC.

1 millibitcoin = 0.001 BTC, or USD 0.66, by today’s exchange rate.

Other currencies in which FXOpen can make deposits are USD, RUB, AUD, EUR, CHF, GBP, JPY, SGD and Gold. As per the broker’s conditions, the minimum deposit for an ECN account is $100, the minimum lot is 0.01  and commissions start from 1.5 USD per standard lot.

FXOpen is shaping up as one of the more cryptocurrency friendly forex brokers. It was among the first to add the rising Ethereum to its trading portfolio and recently also introduced trading in Dash. It also  offers trading in Bitcoin, Namecoin, Litecoin and Peercoin directly against the US Dollar, Euro or Russian Ruble though BTC-e, one of the top online cryptocurrency exchanges, as a liquidity provider.

FXOpen is regulated by UK’s FCA and the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC). It offers forex and CFD trade, via ECN and STP accounts with different level of experience and investment. The minimum deposit for a live account is $300 and the leverage is up to 1:500.
