FTM Brokers passes inspection of forex trading software, can now operate in Belarus

FTM Brokers, a Belarusian forex broker, has successfully passed the inspection of its forex trading software and its financial report, reports the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.

This means FTM Brokers can now legally operate as a forex broker in Belarus, after it obtained its license in May. Back then the National bank of Belarus granted a license to another broker – TeleTrade.

FTM Brokers is the sixth addition to the list of legal forex brokers in the country. Open Investments and Forex Club became the first ones to get a license in Belarus in April. In June the bank granted a license to Alpari Eurasia and Gerchik&Co and Forex Club passed the software inspection.

Also in June the Belarusian central bank blocked the access to the local sites of the forex brokers Weltrade and LiteForex.

In July MTBank, a Belarusian bank, teamed up with the Swiss forex broker Dukascopy Bank, launched a forex brokerage unit, MTBankFX and became the first bank to offer forex trading services in its home country.

FTM Brokers is a Belarusian forex broker. It is the successor of the company Forexline, which was the founder of the forex broker market in Belarus. It was established in 2002 and opened its first office in the country in 2004.
