Russia forex brokerage Alpari said on Monday it has made available its Alpari Options mobile trading application for devices with Android operatin system. Previously, the application was available to iOS devices only.
The application enables users to trade 24/5 in binary options on forex pairs and metals, as well as contracts for difference (CFDs) on shares, indices and commodities. Trades can be opened in USD or EUR with a minimum of one currency unit. The application offers all the tools, strategies and timeframes that are available in the web version of Alpari’s terminal.
According to the Google Play Store, the Android appliction was launched on 12 August. It has already been installed by 10-50 traders and has revceived an average rating of 4.4 stars out of five.
Alpari added binary options trading to its offering in December last year. Since then it has been expanding its service. The broker offers four types of binary options trading – call/put, range, touch and spread options with a payout of up to 100%. The broker supports both long-term and short-term oprions, starting from 30 seconds. Since April, clients who trade in such instruments can take part in Alpari’s cashback program and receive rewards for each order they make.
Alpari is headquartered in Russia and has units regulated in Belize, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Belarus. It was denied license in Russia, its main market of operation without explanation. The company used to operate a UK-regulated branch, which went insolvent in January 2015 after it faced exceptional volatility and extreme lack of liquidity as a result of the EUR/CHF collapse.
The broker is focused on Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), or the former Soviet countries. It was ranked as the largest forex broker by average monthly retail deposits and clients in 2015 by Interfax-Center for Economic Analysis (Interfax-CEA).
