Hirose Financial UK, the UK arm of forex brokerage Hirose Group, issued a warning on Monday regarding a website that claims to be associated with it, when this is not the case. The broker did not disclose the scam website, but it is not legitimate.
“Recently there has surfaced a scam site using our Company Name, Hirose Financial UK Ltd. but it is not legitimate,” the brokerage said in a statement. “Using any other sites will put your account at risk for hacking and having your personal information stolen.”
Hirose UK operates solely via its official website, www.hiroseuk.com.
Clone firms use some or all of the details of a genuine entity, aiming to convince investors they works with the authorized company. The regulator noted that fraudsters may give out false details or mix false data with correct details of the authorized firm.
Hirose UK is regulated by the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and by the UK Gambling commission (for binary options trading).
