Canada’s regional financial markets regulator, the British Columbia Securities Commission (BCSC), has warned that the Inter Global forex and CFD broker is not authorized to provide its services in the province.
The Commission, however, has become aware that at least one resident of British Columbia was able to open a trading account with Inter Global. It claims to be “a leading registered forex broker”, subject to a “regulatory oversight”. The broker does not provide an address and has a number in the UK.
An SMN check revealed that its IBC registration number is of Inter Global Ltd. based in the offshore zone St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
BCSC is the second financial markets regulator that warns of Inter Global, after UK’s FCA.
