Plus500 (LON:PLUS), one of the major forex and CFD brokers, announced it has renewed its partnership with Spain’s Atletico Madrid football club and would remain the official main sponsor of the club for the next season (2017/2018).
Plus500 first became the Official Main Sponsor of Atlético in January 2015 and has been renewing the partnership since then.
The partnership means the Plus500 will feature prominently on Atletico Madrid’s official jerseys and training shirts. There will also be other branding rights, including on the club’s new stadium Wanda Metropolitano, which has a seating capacity of around 70 000 people, and a host of other sponsorship benefits.

Atletico Madrid is one of the most popular football clubs in Spain’s football championship La Liga and is the eternal city rival of Real Madrid. The club has players like Antoine Griezmann and Fernando Torres. Under the leadership of the coach Diego Simeone since 2011, the Atletico Madrid has won the UEFA Super Cup and has been a finalist at the UEFA Champions League.
Plus500 offers trading in forex, options, contracts for difference (CFDs), commodities, indices, and exchange-traded funds (ETFs).
