Offshore forex brokerage house Weltrade has made available to Thai clients the option to transfers funds via mobile e-payment service provider MyPay Pocket.
Payments payments are possible in Thai Baht (THB) and are instantaneously processed.
MyPay Pocket is a mobile application for money transfer, bill payment, e-shopping, and expenses monitoring. It provides a variety of top up channels, including several Thai banks and some large retailers.
Users need to use their mobile phone number in order to start using the application.
Thailand is a key market for Weltrade, which operates a representative office in the country. The broker offers other payment solutions in THB – PayPal, Bangkok Bank, Siam Commercial Bank (SCB), and Thai Exchanger.
Weltrade offers trading in forex, precious metals and contracts for difference (CFDs). It was set up in 2006 as SystemForex and was rebranded in 2012. The broker is based in Belize, where it received a forex broker license in December 2015 from the International Financial Services Commission (IFSC).
