Multi-asset brokerage IG Group (LON:IGG) said on Wednesday it is soon to launch trading in contracts for difference (CFDs) to its proprietary platform ProRealTime. The platform currently supports only spread betting, but CFD accounts will be added, too.
Moreover, ProRealTime soon will also be added a signals trading center. The new features are currently in development and coming to the platform in the next couple of months. No further details were provided.
In addition, the broker announced it has already added several new features to the platform:
- ProRealTime launcher
- Tear off panels
- News in market view
- Alerts sound effects
- Dark background
In a video published on the broker’s website, Ivan Gowan, IG’s Chief Digital Experience Officer, says that client feedback is driving the development of the ProRealTime platform. IG Group has been working on the platform for some nine years and is enhancing its offering based on user feedback. Traders are sending a large number of messages as feedback, mostly positive ones.
IG Group’s self-branded web trading platform offers access to the spread betting markets. The platform offers a number of features, including one-click dealing, trading straight from charts and watchlist creating and editing.
It is fully completely customizable and offers access to various other platforms. Users can launch ProRealTime charts and IG charts, as well as add direct market access (DMA) prices, advanced charts, trailing stops, buffer limits and multiple deal tickets. In addition, IG clients can also use MetaTrader 4 (MT4).
IG Group is based in the UK and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), but its subsidiaries are also regulated by the relevant authorities in the countries where they operate. It is a licensed bookmaker by the UK’s Gambling Commission and now a managed portfolio provider in the UK.
