Forex Club ceases offering some stock CFDs due to low customer interest

Do not invest more money than you can afford to lose.

Forex Club, a forex and contracts for difference (CFDs) brokerage group, has ceased offering trading in certain single stock CFDs on international companies. Optimization of the broker’s product portfolio was necessary due to customers’ weak interest in the instruments and the low liquidity.

Following is a list of the instruments that are no longer available for trading with Forex Club:

  • 3M CO. (MMM)
  • CHEVRON CORP. (CVX)
  • CHINA UNICOM LTD. (CHU)
  • EPAM SYSTEMS INC. (EPAM)
  • HSBC HOLDINGS (HBC)
  • MERCK & CO. INC. (MRK)
  • MOBILE TELESYSTEMS  (MBT)
  • PEPSICO INC. (PEP)
  • UNITED TECHNOLOGIES CORP. (UTX)
  • VIMPELCOM LTD. (VIP)
  • WAL-MART STORES (WMT)

Trading in the above-listed instruments will soon stopped altogether. Investors can open positions until 17 February and all contracts will be closed on 10 March. Some of the stock CFDs were added to the broker’s offering less than a year ago.

In addition to stock CFDs, the broker offers trading in forex and CFDs on metals, indices, commodities and other instruments.

Forex Club is a collective brand of several entities. It operates in more than 120 countries, mainly in Russia and within the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), or the former Soviet countries. It is a registered broker in Belarus and holds a license by the Central Bank of Russia (CBR).
