Kraken, one of world’s largest and oldest cryptocurrency exchanges, said it has expanded its payment options by adding USD, GBP and EUR.
Deposits in the three main fiat currencies are available immediately in all markets where Kraken operates, except the US, where the USD is already available. Payments can be made through an international SWIFT wire, for a fee of 10 USD/EUR/GBP.
Withdrawals in the three currencies will be available starting from April 24, again in all Kraken markets, through an international SWIFT code, for a fee of 60 USD/EUR/GBP.
Both deposits and withdrawals in USD/EUR/GBP are available through the “SWIFT” payment option in the menu and require Tier 3 or 4 account verification.
Founded in 2011, San Francisco-based Kraken is the largest bitcoin exchange in euro volume and liquidity. It offers margin trading in the cryptocurrencies bitcoin, ether, litecoin, monero, dash and several others in pairs with Canadian dollars, US dollars, British pounds, euro and Japanese yen.
