Do not invest more money than you can afford to lose.
Canada’s provincial regulator, the British Columbia Securities Commission (BCSC), has added two more binary options brokers to its ever expanding warning list.
The latest additions are TorOption and BinaryBrokerz. Both of them are not regulated, but the Commission has become aware that they are offering their services in the province and residents of British Columbia had been able to open accounts.
TorOption claims to be based in Glasgow, Scotland and is owned by the company Smart Choice Zone LP. BinaryBrokerz says it is based in London and is owned by DSMG Ltd.
Neither of the parties is egistered to trade in, or advise on, securities or exchange contracts in British Columbia.
TorOptions appears on a warning list for the first time. BinaryBrokerz, however, has been warned against by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission and Italy’s CONSOB.
