Do not invest more money than you can afford to lose.

The Japanese branch of the popular retail forex brokerage Forex.com said it will transfer the clients trading on the FOREXTrader platform to Advantage Trader on August 12.

After the transfer, clients will be able to trade a larger number of currency pairs – 84. This will result in new prices, swaps and spreads, but leverage will remain the same.

The new platform will also give them access to more indicators and other trading tools – 139 indicators and 104 different kinds of trading signals and tools, as well as an enhanced cashback program.

According to the company announcement, most clients will keep their login data unchanged and those who must change their password, will be contacted by the company. Other features like account balance, open positions, and other orders from existing FOREXTrader accounts will be transferred seamlessly.

Also on August 12, Forex.com Japan will change some of its MetaTrader 4 (MT4) servers.

This is the latest in a series of news from Forex.com regarding various changes and upgrades to trading platforms. Earlier this week the brokerage said it is launching a new web trading platform and a partnership with the charting and trading platform TradingView.

Forex.com is a brand of the US brokerage Gain Capital. It offers trading in forex, CFDs and stocks on a wide range of platforms: FOREXTrader, MetaTrader 4, Tradable & GTX. It is regulated by CFTC (US), FCA (UK), ASIC (Australia), IIROC (Canada), SFC (Hong Kong), FSA (Japan).
