Interactive Brokers expands offering with Sterling Trading Tech trading platforms

Interactive Brokers, a US broker-dealer also offering forex trading, said it has added the professional trading platforms of Sterling Trading Tech (STT).

STT is a fintech providing trading platforms, risk and compliance products and infrastructure for trading in equities, equity options and futures.

Under the agreement, Interactive Brokers clients can now use the Sterling Trader Pro, Sterling Trader Elite and Sterling VolTrader with their Interactive Brokers accounts. The main trading platform offered by Interactive Brokers is the proprietary Traders Workstation (TWS).

Sterling Trader Pro is used by professional traders for trading equities, options, and futures and Sterling Trader Elite is used by buy-side firms and hedge funds. Sterling VolTrader is an analysis platform that can be used for portfolio analysis, volatility modeling tools, and complex option order entry.

Connecticut-based Interactive Brokers is a broker and a market maker. It, together with its numerous subsidiaries, offers online automated trading of stocks, options, futures, forex, bonds, contracts for difference (CFDs) and funds to traders, investors and institutions in over 100 market across the globe. It has offices in the North America, Europe, Australia, and Asia. The group companies holds licenses by the relevant authorities in the US and the UK.
