TradeStation platform forays into digital TV land

Do not invest more money than you can afford to lose.

TradeStation, the trading and analysis platform, part of Monex Group’s TradeStation Group, has teamed up with digital TV channel Cheddar for the production of “The Long and the Short,” an educational 30-minute weekly stock trading show. It is mainly intended for millennials and will explore near- and long-term trading strategies and will air on Tuesdays live from the NYSE.

The show will explain all aspects of trading, including trading strategies based on earnings, company news, hedging, sector rotations and risk management. Naturally, the show will integrate TradeStation’s platform and its features, analysis tools and commentary, but will not be giving investment advise.

“TradeStation is thrilled to partner with Cheddar on ‘The Long and the Short,’” said John Bartleman, President of TradeStation Group, Inc. “What a great opportunity – not only to showcase our award-winning trading platform to a new generation of investors, but also to help introduce them to the pure excitement, personal satisfaction and potential opportunities of trading the markets.”

TradeStation is an analysis and trading platform for the active traders and certain institutional trader markets. It offers electronic order execution and enables clients to design, test, optimize, monitor and automate their own custom equities, options and futures trading strategies. TradeStation Group is a wholly owned subsidiary of Monex Group, Inc., one of the largest online financial services providers and forex brokers in Japan.
