Spin Casino, Jackpot City, Royal Vegas and Ruby Fortune get licensed in Ontario

Don't gamble with money you cannot afford to lose

Super Group secured Ontario gambling licenses for four of its casino brands. Now, Spin Casino, Royal Vegas, Jackpot City, and Ruby Fortune are accessible for Ontarian residents to play. The licenses are valid for 2 years, until mid 2024, while most companies were granted a 1-year validity licenses.

Back in April, the Super Group-owned brand Betway became the 30th site that got AGCO’s permission to provide gambling services to Ontarians. The acquisition of these licenses was a major demonstration of Super Group’s ambitions to conquer the North American gambling market.

At the beginning of April 2022, Ontario became the first Canadian province to set clear rules regarding online gambling. Country’s most populous region is reaping great financial benefits, but the legislation is taking its toll as the authorities struggle to curb illegal gambling and take drastic measures to protect locals from licensed and unlicensed sites alike. AGCO imposes hefty fines to licensees that disobey the rules. The latest penalty went to DraftKings that violated the advertising regulations. The operator posted several inducements of boosted odds – something that is prohibited by the Ontario sports betting laws.

Although the online gambling legalization was warmly welcomed by players stung by offshore casinos, its opponents consider all forms of gambling devastating. At the same time, the online gambling industry and the social casino games, in particular, are being on the rise all over the world right now. As for Canada, the 7seascasino seem to be attracting more and more players willing to go on a virtual vacation around the world.
