Tamar and Val were not eliminated that night, but only a couple days after that performance, Dancing With The Stars’ Production Company, BBC Worldwide announced Tamar’s departure from the show on Wednesday (November 11, 2015) after more details on her health status were learned. The R& B singer had originally checked into the hospital under the assumption she had pneumonia, but quickly leaned that her condition was far more serious. Somewhat worryingly she’s seen explaining in that she feels dizzy and may’t see on stage.
However, hospital is exactly where she did end up this week, missing the start of Monday’s episode of Dancing With The Stars.
In an Instagram post, Braxton let fans know that what she thought was pneumonia is actually a pulmonary embolism, which is a blood clot in the lungs.
Braxton had been partnered with professional dancer Val Chmerkovskiy, and although the pair seemed to have a hard time connecting with each other as Tamar seemed to fight him for “control”, they were finally beginning to coelesce.
