Do not invest more money than you can afford to lose.
One likely possibility is that Night Wolf will be added to the game as rumored, but otherwise, there’s no real way of knowing, and Ed Boon’s Kombat Pack 2 tease from a few months back offers little clues. The list of characters for this downloadable content are often discussed on Mortal Kombat forums, according to VG 24/7.
There has been a steady trickle of rumors about the upcoming second DLC pack for the game “Mortal Kombat X“, which according to all information released so far, will release sometime in the first half of 2016. Since then, Mortal Kombat X fans have jumped in a guessing game with Ed Boon on who are the next possible DLC characters throwing all sorts of insane ideas.
Aside from new characters, Kombat Pack 2 is also expected to introduce new skins and one new stage to “Mortal Kombat X“, although it’s unclear if those will also be revealed at The Game Awards. On Twitter, Boon said that viewers can look forward to seeing “Who’s Next” during the event this Thursday. Apparently, the game creator actively interacts with gamers and answers their inquiries on the social media site. Fans of the game can set their expectations on a few classic characters from the Mortal Kombat series and never forget to expect a few more special guest stars. Beyond that, four more characters were released as DLC, with two being based on icon horror characters from outside of the franchise.
In a review from PlayStation Universe, it says the Mortal Kombat X is an extremely violent fighting game that is unrivalled when it comes to its over-the-top gore and violence. There are now 29 playable characters in Mortal Kombat X, including the four DLC characters that came with the game’s Kombat Pass: Jason Vorhees, Predator, Tanya and Tremor.
Thankfully, the Game Awards 2015 air December 3 at 9pm EST so we won’t have to be patient much longer. Seeing as how there will four new characters added to “Mortal Kombat X“, one fan even mentioned the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as a possibility, although Boon has shot this suggestion down.
