Questrade adds VectorVest’s stock analysis tool to offering

Do not invest more money than you can afford to lose.

Canadian multi-asset financial brokerage Questrade has partnered with US software developer VectorVest to include its self-branded application for trade analysis to its offering, the broker said last week. Traders can send orders instantly to Questrade without ever leaving the VectorVest tool.

The application is available on Questrade’s partner app center, where traders can browse and download third-party trading and investing apps.

The new app is best suitable to active stock traders. It provides information, such as relative value, safety, and timing, and offers additional screeners, alerts, and rankings to help users find potential stock trading opportunities. The VectorVest app offers end-of-day, intraday, or real-time data to help analyze more than 23,000 stocks each day from more than nine different markets worldwide, including the US, Canada, Australia, and Europe.

VectorVest implements an easy-to-use color system which indicates whether the stocks of a certain company are a good offer – green for go, yellow for caution, and red for don’t buy. This system allows for research and stock picking to be done in minutes, whereas that previously took hours.

Toronto-based Questrade offers trading in forex, stocks, precious metals, options, bonds, exchange-traded fund (ETF). It is a member of the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada and the Canadian Investor Protection Fund.

Questrade is a subsidiaries of Questrade Financial Group, which also owns portfolio manager Questrade Wealth Management Inc.
