In an interview with CNN earlier this week, Kimmel said plans surrounding Trump’s appearance was going to be “a surprise”. The Die Hard actor rocked a weird blonde wig, which looked strikingly similar to the former Apprentice star’s much-talked about hairdo for his interview.
Kimmel was joined by sidekick Guillermo in getting a lesson from ballet superstar Misty Copeland in her studio, before joining her onstage at the Brooklyn Academy of Music with the rest of her supporting dancers.
Kimmel referenced Trump’s previous comments about Mexican immigrants by pointing out that his absence meant the show didn’t need to “build a wall around Guillermo tonight“. Kimmel did not miss an opportunity to publicly call out Trump on last night’s episode for his “cryptic” cancelation.
