Andy Dalton’s fingerprints were all over one of the Cincinnati Bengals’ greatest comebacks. This week, the Seahawks were the victims of a missed call that likely cost them the game in the 27-24 overtime loss at Cincinnati Sunday.
He finished the day with 331 yards passing, 2 touchdowns, and 1 interception. The Bengals got him for three completions for 51 yards in the first quarter alone.
For the fourth quarter, the Seahawks defense look like its one of recent. He now has 64 career interceptions, tied with Ed Reed for sixth on the all-time list.
Asked which turnover bothered him the most, Rodgers said: “All of them”.

“The most frustrating part is we didn’t finish”, Seahawks receiver Doug Baldwin said. “Today was a good step toward understanding that we can do that all the time”.
The Seahawks appeared to be in good shape after scoring a pair touchdowns during a 2-minute span of the third quarter. Bobby Wagner picked it up, running 23 yards to the end zone for a 24-7 lead. “Whatever Hue gives us we just go out there and perform it. That’s what I really know about this offense is that guys just go with the flow and make plays”. We adjusted to a couple things that happened during the game really well….

But, sadly, the pass defense didn’t come to play yesterday and the Bengals did just enough to win (aided by the especially conservative play calling by Seahawks offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell in OT).
Seattle’s pass rush almost could ignore the run for most of the second half and focus on targeting Dalton, who attempted 44 passes in the game. The Bengals played a series of teams dedicated to – and very good at – stopping the run. When wide receiver Ryan Grant slipped on a pass route, Alford caught Cousins’ pass and was left with open field down the Falcons’ sideline for the touchdown. “After six games previous year I thought we were floundering”, Carroll said.
