The all new site went live on Tuesday with tons of interactive elements that let guests explore the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Hollywood.
Various shops and locations featured in the Harry Potter books and movies are on display in the tour including Honeydukes, Owl Post, Wiseacre’s Wizarding Equipment, Three Broomsticks and Hog’s Head pub. Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey will be a state-of-the-art 3D-HD ride immersing fans in the Hogwarts experience, soaring above the castle grounds and taking you through areas like Dumbledore’s office, the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom, the Room of Requirement, and more. The expansion of Diagon Alley in 2014 only further showcased Universal’s ability to compete with the very best in the theme park industry.
The park will also feature the Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey 3-D ride, an immersive ride that takes passengers through familiar scenes and settings from the films, and the Flight of the Hippogriff ride, which will be the first outdoor roller coaster at Universal Studios Hollywood.
Currently, in-park guests at Universal Studios Hollywood can experience and purchase authentic merchandise, including wands, robes and other collectibles from “The Wizarding World of Harry Potter”, available within the Features Presentation shop, located just inside the theme park’s main entry.
