As the world prepares for Adele to drop her highly-anticipated new album, “25”, on Friday, the “Hello” singer has released a tease of a new song called “When We Were Young“.
In a trailer for an interview on 60 Minutes Australia, the star can be seen performing the new song live in the studio. It does indeed sound like an emotional banger. The “When We Were Young” performance begins at 1:30.
In the interview, the singer dives deep into how she is handling all the acclaim her music has gotten and gives a glimpse into her life back in the spotlight.
How do you know Adele is a superstar?
“I get really nervous”, Adele reveals, adding that she “doesn’t want to disappoint” her fans.
Adele offered 60 Minutes Australia her first-ever performance of the new song, which falls right in line with the rest of her discography.
Oh and Adele’s full 60 Minutes special airs on Australian TV this Sunday from 8:10pm on Channel 9 btw.
“Oh, I’m so mad I’m getting old-it makes me reckless”, she croons as the song comes to a close. “I think a couple of the ideas we had when we worked together would be good for rap songs!”
