Do not invest more money than you can afford to lose.
Jan Molby says Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has rescued Reds starlet Jordon Ibe.
Liverpool’s revival under manager Juergen Klopp continued to gather steam as the Merseyside club notched up a third win in a row with a 1-0 away victory over Russian side Rubin Kazan in the Europa League on Thursday. “It’s even good for those players who can’t play in this moment to see how we work”. But he will know perhaps more than most that if you continue to entertain the fans with a few superb one-liners, then they have a good chance of coming back to bite you.
Not easy “The first 80 minutes was really good. We would have liked more, of course, but we created the chances, and it wasn’t easy to play in that atmosphere on that pitch against defensive opponents”. We deserved our goal and then, as it is in life, we have to learn everything – and we have to learn to win.
Rubin Kazan coach Valeriy Chaly took solace in his team’s Europa League defeat to Liverpool – claiming “we are still better than Chelsea”.
Klopp revealed afterwards that playmaker Phlippe Coutinho was rested because he has a slight hamstring strain, but should be fine for the visit of Crystal Palace on Sunday.
The breakthrough did not come until seven minutes into the second half when Firmino popped off another a pass to allow Ibe to advance 15 yards and clip a shot in off Ryzhikov’s far post.
“There is a huge belief and confidence within the group and that feeling of scoring goals and winning games, you want to keep it”, revealed the Belgian.
He also suggested using European competition to blood inexperienced youngsters in tough venues does more harm than good.
Defence: Klopp is likely to pick a strong squad which could see him stick with the same back four that started during the 3-1 win at Chelsea on Saturday.
