Rival Systems, a Chicago-based trading software provider, has included products from the ICE Futures US and ICE Futures Europe exchanges on the Rival Trader, a platform for derivatives trading, the company said on Tuesday. The platform’s users now have access to a wide selection of futures and options on futures trading on the two exchanges. “As we continue to grow in the U.S. and begin our expansion into Europe later this year, our goal is to provide professional traders with access to all of the exchanges, advanced features and expert support they need to compete in today’s markets,” said Rival CEO Robert D’Arco.
The US and European ICE Futures exchanges features many types of trading instruments, including oil and natural gas, energy, precious metals, soft commodities, and FTSE and Russell indexes, which track the performance of select market segments. They also provide access to about 60 forex futures.
“Options traders interested in ICE’s markets can leverage the advanced market-making and -taking features of Rival Trader to quote with confidence during volatile markets and automatically trade with orders in the book that have edge,” D’Arco added.
Rival Trader provides trading in all types of derivatives. The platfiorm has advanced features, including risk analysis, and customizable edge formulas and strategy development, as well as hardware and hosting options.
Rival Trader is one of many products Rival Systems offers to professional traders. The developer also provides Rival Risk, an enterprise risk management tool, Rival API, an automated strategy development platform, and Rival Trainer, an online options training course for beginner, intermediate, and advanced traders.
