Barchart, a market data and information provider, said on Wednesday its Barchart Stocks, Futures and Forex mobile financial application has exceeded the threshold number of 200,000 download counts from the Android and iOS stores.
The Barchart app, which is available for download free of charge, provides in-depth market information about stocks, futures and commodities, exchange-traded finds (ETFs) and indices, as well as forex. The app could be used from traders, investors and market analysts and followers alike.
“By surpassing 200,000 installs, the Barchart.com app has proven to be a top-rated financial app and will continue to be so by providing extensive, accurate and in-depth financial information to its users,” said Barchart president Eero Pikat.
The app is downloaded between 50,000 and 100,000 times from Android users, according to data from the Google Play Store, which means that there are at least 100,000 app users with iOS devices. 
Users of the Barchart Stocks, Futures and Forex app can keep an eye on real-time stock prices, as well as pre-market and after-hour prices, for companies listed on major exchanges in the US, Canada, London, Australia, and India. They can also benefit from breaking and top market news and alerts, commentary ans opinion pieces unique to Barchart, as well as customizable bar, line, area and candlestick charts with historic data and portfolio saved to Barchart.com.
