IFC Markets adds trading in CFDs on EU50 index

IFC Markets, an offshore forex and contracts for difference (CFDs) broker, said on Wednesday it has started offering trading in CFDs on the EU50 index for all clients.

IFC Markets clients will be able to trade in the new instrument using either of the two trading platforms the broker supports – the MetaTrader 4 (MT4) or the NetTradeX.

In IFC Markets’s portfolio, the EU50 index CFDs are included as continuous index CFDs, which means there will be no expiration dates for the instrument and calculations are based on unique algorithm featuring the nearest liquid futures.

IFC Markets offers four types of live trading accounts – Standard and Micro on the MT4 and Standard and Beginner accounts on NetTradeX, its own proprietary trading platform designed for forex and CFDs trading.The broker offers demo accounts, as well, which allow training trading with virtual money. Islami accounts are also available, but no details have been provided regarding trading with such accounts in the EU50 index.

The EU50, or the EU Stocks 50 Index, is Europe’s blue chip index, comprising of the top 50 European companies leaders in their sectors. It includes companies from 18 European countries and is corrected and update each September. Other forex brokers that include EU50 in their offering include XTB, Plus500, IG Group, AForex, etc.

Recently, the broker included 39 CFDs on futures of 19 popular commodities to its product portfolio, as well as stock CFDs on well-known Ferrari and Alibaba.

IFC Markets offers trading in more than 500 tradable instruments. In addition to index CFDs, the broker also provides forex, CFDs on commodities, stock , commodity futures, as well as gold and personal composite instruments (PCI).

IFC Markets is the trading brand of IFCMarkets Corp, which is part of financial technologies holding company IFCM Group. It is based in the British Virgin Islands and is licensed by the local financial regulator, the Financial Services Commission (FSC).
