Cyprus-based forex broker Alfa-Forex launched recently a mobile trading application for Android devices, the broker said in a notice on Wednesday.
The mobile app was released on 19 April, 2016, according to data on the Google Play store. It already has between 500 and 1,000 downloads. Alfa-Forex launched a mobile trading app for devices with iOS operating system in 2015.
Traders can use Alfa-Forex’s app to trade currencies,manage their accounts, and transfer funds between accounts, deposit or withdraw funds. In addition, they can receive the latest news and analytics, as well as real-tome market quotes, get SMS authorization to ensure security of operations, as well as consult with company representatives via online chat or web call.
The Alfa-Forex apps for Android and iOS are available free for download. It integrates the MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and MetaTrader 5 (MT5) experience into a mobile app.
In addition to the web platforms, Alfa-Forex offers MT4 and MT5 for desktop devices, and the online ZuluTrade platform for copy trading.
Alfa-Forex is a brand of Cuprus-based Alfa Capital Holdings, which is part of Alfa-Bank Banking Group. The broker is licensed by the Cyprus Securities Exchange Commission (CySEC).
It focuses on the markets of EU, Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), or the former Soviet countries. In the EU, all a financial service provider is allowed to provide services within the whole union if it holds a license by any member state, Cyprus included. In Russia, local forex brokers are required to hold a license from the Central Bank of Russia (CBR) in order to operate. However, foreign brokers can still target Russian citizens even without a local license.
