Online forex brokerage AMarkets said on Monday it has reduced the minimum initial deposit requirement for ECN accounts to $1,000. This is a significant drop from the previous requirement of $5,000.
Electronic communication network, or ECN, accounts provide access to liquidity providers with an instant execution.
In addition to ECN accounts, AMarkets offers Classic, Direct, and Institutional trading accounts. Users of Classic or Direct accounts are not limited by a minimum deposit size, while for Institutional clients the requirement is $100,000. More details about the trading conditions of AMarkets follow:
AMarkets offers trading in forex, metals, commodities, and contracts for difference (CFDs). The broker is incorporated in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and is a member of the Center for Regulation in OTC Financial Instruments and Technologies (CRFIN), a Russian self-regulatory organization, and the Financial Commission (FinaCom), a Hong Kong-based external dispute resolution (EDR) organization.
