Do not invest more money than you can afford to lose.

US financial technology solutions provider Broadridge Financial Solutions, Inc. (NYSE: BR) has updated its recently launched the cost efficiency improving solution Global Post Trade Management (GPTM), intended for investment banks and broker-dealers. According to the announcement, Broadridge has added to GPTM exchange-traded derivatives functionality through the acquisition of Dojima LLC. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Dojima’s solution becomes a component of GPTM and is rebranded as Broadridge Derivatives Clearing. It offers a modern, multi-asset multi-tenant clearing and connectivity platform for exchange-traded and cleared OTC derivatives. It has real-time, rules driven, auto-clearing facilities that allow trades to flow seamlessly from global clearing houses to clearing members through to end-clients within seconds. It provides a highly flexible interface that accelerates time to market while addressing the rapidly-changing and complex requirements of derivative reforms.

The new solution is hosted on the cloud, which lets it offer low total cost of ownership. Among its other main benefits is the superior operational efficiency via a single platform for both exchange listed and cleared OTC derivatives, multi-asset support – ETD, IRS, CDS, FX and commodity derivatives, easy integration, scalability and global connectivity supporting CCPs in US, Europe and Asia Pacific.

Broadridge offers a broad range of solutions that serve retail and institutional clients across the entire investment process, including pre-trade, trade, and post-trade processing. They include bank and brokerage investor communications, document management and archival solutions, expense, investment, risk and data management solutions, securities processing, products servicing mutual fund and retirement companies, corporate issuers, advisors and health funds.

The company has more than 50 years of experience and its infrastructure underpins proxy voting service for over 90% of public companies and mutual funds in North America. It processes on average $5 trillion in equity and fixed income trades per day.

Earlier this year the Japanese forex broker Monex announced it will implement Broadridge’s JASDEC (Japan Securities Depository Center, Inc.) Processing Solution to improve its retail trading and client services and support the expansion of its Japanese equity and investment trust processing business.

Dojima is a niche technology firm that provides global trading, clearing, matching and connectivity solutions and has offices in New York, London, Singapore and Chennai.
