FreshForex, an offshore-regulated broker mostly active in Russia and Asia, announced it is updating its Meta Trader 4 (MT4) trading platform and adds a built in chat.
The new option, which allows exchanging instant messages with friends directly from the trading platform, is part of the latest MT4 upgrade MetaQuotes Software rolled out recently.
The chat window is available through the Tools – Options – Community menu on the MT4 platform.
FreshForex is the trading name of Riston Capital, which is headquartered in Russia and registered in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. It offers forex and contracts for difference (CFDs) trading services.
FreshForex is a member of Russia’s commission for the regulation of relations on financial market, KROUFR. In the Russian market, the broker had a monthly trading volume of an average $3 billion in 2015 and about 7,800 active accounts.
In June FreshForex announced it is discontinuing the support for the older versions of MT4 and urged its clients to update their terminals to the latest builds. Earlier this year the broker added the option of direct deposits through the MT4 terminal.
MT4 is still the most popular trading platform used by many online forex brokers, in spite the recent reports that it was subject to hacker attacks and the efforts of its developer MetaQuotes Software to promote MT4’s successor MetaTrader 5. Nevertheless, the company is not abandoning MT4 and updates it on a regular basis, mostly adding small improvements and minor new options.
