TradingView, an online charting tool and a trading platform in one, said on Friday it has has made several improvements to Gann drawing, which enable users to adjust price scales and reverse drawings to previous mode. The new feature is available for Gann Box and Gann Square drawings.
The price scale adjustment feature will allow users to discard changes made to Gann drawings by readjusting the price scale, while the reverse feature will rotate the drawing around its main point.
In addition, TradingView has another new feature – corner rays. Traders can use the Angles options to draw all the corner rays in the Gann Square, as well as to change the colors.
The enhancements were made in response to client demand.
Gann drawings are a popular tool among traders as they find them useful for analyzing price directions by calculating key elements of the trading process. Gann drawing can predict what directon would a certain instrument’s price take in a certain day in the future.
TradingView is a web-based platform that uses that uses HTML5-based charts. In May 2016, the platform started offering live trading in forex and contracts for difference (CFDs), with Forex Capital Markets, or FXCM, being the first supported broker. Since recently, the platform also offers trading in stocks via US equities broker DriveWealth. In addition, the platform started beta testing trading through Canada-based forex broker Oanda.

It features customizable charts, basic and advanced ones alike, as well as more than 50 drawing tools that can be used for understanding and analyzing the financial markets.
