MetaQuotes Software has rolled out an update to the Android mobile application for its popular MetaTrader 5 platform. Now the app has optimized use of price charts with and supports multiple windows, allowing traders to monitor price changes on multiple symbol simultaneously.
Traders can view up to 2 separate charts on smartphones and up to 6 on tablets.
Additionally, MetaQuotes has included the ability to change an indicator subwindow height, edit indicator levels and has added a fast selection button for symbols and a separate menu of chart settings.
The application is now also translated into Bulgarian, expanding the list of language versions to 25.
The MT5 mobile app for Android has between 500 000 and 1 000 000 downloads. It contains the majority of features available in the desktop version of the trading platform, such as full set of trade orders, including pending orders, detailed trading history and technical analysis tools, as well as hedging, which was introduced with an update in April. It is used for trading in forex, CFDs, futures, options and stocks.
The previous update of the MT5 for Android was rolled out in August and introduced the straight from the platform chat option for traders.
