MT5 expands forex liquidity pool with Swissquote Bank

Do not invest more money than you can afford to lose.

MetaQuotes Software, the developer of the MetaTrader 5 (MT5) trading platform, announced it is adding Swissquote Bank to its pool of liquidity providers.

The Swiss online financial and trading service provider becomes the seventh liquidity provider of the trading platform, along with LMax Exchange, FXCM Pro, Currenex, FastMatch, Hotspot FX, and Integral.

The MetaTrader 5 Gateway to Swissquote has been developed by Swissquote engineers and provides access to liquidity at low exchange rates with fast execution. Swissquote offers quotes for forex, precious metals and CFDs on stock indices, energy and bonds.

”We are committed to our long-term relationship with MetaQuotes and appreciate the opportunity to provide liquidity to their users”, says Ryan Nettles, the Head of FX Trading and Market Strategy at Swissquote Bank. “Our dedication to constantly optimizing our systems has enabled us to efficiently distribute our liquidity across our FX, Precious Metals and CFD products, allowing us to be an excellent choice for MetaTrader 5 users.”

According to Renat Fatkhullin, CEO of MetaQuotes Software, the company is currently negotiating with other potential partners and plans to expand the liquidity provider pool of MT5 further.

After years of standing in the shadow of its more popular predecessor MT4, in the past few months MT5 is rapidly gaining popularity among forex brokers, mostly thanks to the adding of the hedging option this spring. Since then MetaQuotes Software has made series of improvements and additions in a bid to promote MT5.

Swissquote Bank provides online trading, analysis, and financial and information services. The Swissquote Group is headquartered in Switzerland and holds a bank license issued by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA). The company has more than 200,000 retail and institutional clients serviced through its offices in Dubai, London, Malta and Hong Kong.

Swissquote Bank has 63 currency pairs in its product portfolio. For trading the bank offers mini, standard, and premium accounts and three trading platforms –  MetaTrader 4 (MT4), as well as FXBook and Advanced Trader. In the end of July it reported the impressive 204.6% H1 2016 net profit growth, YoY.
