Russian investment services group Finam said on Monday it has launched FinamTradeBot, a sertive that enabled users to trade and receive news and quotes via messaging application Telegram. The broker is the second one to do so after in mid-September FreshForex became the first forex broker to launch trading via Telegram.
Investors can trade in currencies (USD/RUB, EUR/RUB) and stocks on the Russian bourse using the Telegram app.
To connect and use the Telegram app , investors need to install the app on their devices, log in, search for Finam’s account (@finamtradebot) and connect to it. Trading is executed in the form of a dialog, enabling traders to send and receive instant messages. Users receive stock market news from Russian news agency Finam.ru.
Telegram is a cloud-based application that enables users to communicate in real time via text, video and images. It is available on iOS, Android and Windows devices, as well as desktops with Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems. The application also has a web-based version.
Finam, through its international brand WhoTrades, is licensed by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC), which allows it to operate in all EU member states, and by US National Futures Association (NFA). Finam Forex, part of the group, is a licensed forex broker by the Central Bank of Russia (CBR).
The broker offers trading services on major world stock and currency markets.
