Do not invest more money than you can afford to lose.
Offshore forex broker FBS said on Thursday it has launched a virtual hosting service. FBS clients who meet certain criteria, such as having a certain number of traded lots, gain free access to the virtual private server (VPS).
The broker did not disclose where its VPS is located.
The new service allows users to easily set up and install expert advisors (EAs), or trading robots, even when offline.
A VPS is a virtual machine that provides traders with virtual environment on the hosting company’s servers. It is not dependent on power and connection disconnections and has an offline mode, which provides additional protection for placing orders. VPS servers are usually faster than physical computers. They are accessible from anywhere and enable trading around the clock.
Other brokers that offer a VPS service include FXTM, Pepperstone, RoboForex, among others.
FBS is a trading brand of FBS Markets. It is entirely focused on forex trading instruments. The broker is present in more than 120 countries worldwide and has more than 176 million opened orders and some 2.3 million active traders. The broker is regulated by the International Financial Services Commission (IFSC) of Belize, an offshore destination for forex brokers.
