Sponsoring football clubs is one of the popular methods employed by forex and binary options brokers to promote themselves. Such type of advertising, along with advertising via any electronic channels, however, was recently banned in France with the passing of the Sapin II law.
It is also worth noting, that the Netherlands is also mulling a ban on advertising on forex and binary options trading.
