The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) has announced it is suspending the investment firm license of PFX Financial Professionals Ltd. It has a business address in Nicosia and is the owner of the forex broker FxFinpro Capital and the investment company Finpro Investments.
An SMN check revealed that the license has been issued in April 2013. In the current announcement, however, the CySEC does not give any details or reasons for the suspension, and there is no information on any violations or warnings against the company.
FxFinpro Capital is offering trading in forex and CFDs on the MT4, Fxfin Protrader 3 and FxFinpro Trader workstation. There are also PAMM accounts and an introducing broker program. Judging by the broker’s site, it is very much active and as of November 24, when CySEC’s board decided to suspend its license, it is doing business as usual.
The investment company Finpro Investments has its landing page in Russian and states it is regulated as a representative office by Dubai’s DFSA, in addition to the CySEC. It offers portfolio management, evaluation and restructuring and consulting services.
