Cyprus-regulated forex broker ForexTime, or FXTM, has introduces trading in contracts for difference (CFDs) on indices and commodities on ECN trading accounts, the broker said over the weekend.
Traders can use their existing ECN account to trade in forex, commodities and indices. FXTM executes CFDs traded via such accounts in market execution mode, or at the current market price.
The broker offers several types of ECN accounts – ECN MT4, ECN MT5, ECN ZERO and FXTM Pro. In addition, it also offers standard accounts (Standard, Cent, and Shares accounts). The broker recently increased leverage for all ECN accounts to 1,000:1. For more information regarding the trading conditions of ECN accounts, please refer to the following table:
FXTM is based in Cyprus and is regulated by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC), which allows it to provide its services in all EU countries. Earlier this year, the broker obtained a license from the Financial Services Board (FSB) of South Africa. It has also set up a London-based unit, but it has provided no information at the time as to whether it plans to acquire a UK license.
