France’s financial markets regulator AMF, has updated with five new entries its list of unauthorized brokers offering forex and binary options in France.
The list, as usual, contains forex and binary options brokers:
– www.financikatrade.com / FINANCIKA (SHARP TRADING) LTD
– www.gninvest-ag.com / GN INVEST AG
– www.investing-secure-international.com / INVESTING SECURE INTERNATIONAL LTD
– www.mrtmarkets.com / MRT TECHNOLOGY LIMITED
– www.thrustmarkets.com / THRUST MARKETS
The binary options broker Financika appears on a alert list for the second time, after Spain’s CNMV warned of it in February this year. The sites www.gninvest-ag.com, www.investing-secure-international.com, www.thrustmarkets.com were inactive at the time the SMN staff tried to check them. MrtMarkets appears to be an offshore forex broker offering trading in forex, bitcoin and CFDs on some indices.
The AMF warns investors to be careful and to always check the registration and regulation of the companies offering investment services in the register of financial agents or the list of authorized intermediaries in the financial investment advisor categories.
“If the intermediary in question is not on these lists, we strongly recommend that you should not make use of their services, as they are in breach of the applicable legislation and are not required to comply with basic rules of investor protection, information disclosure and claims handling,” the AMF said.
