Italy’s financial markets regulator, CONSOB, has warned that the Ayrex and Option888 binary options brokers and the Broker Yard forex broker are not authorized to provide their services in the country.
The announcement mentions the names of the owners of the brokerages – Advanced Binary Technologies Ltd, Capital Force Ltd and OCapital Lp, respectively.
Both Ayrex and Option888 have appeared on warning lists before – of the Australian Securities and Investment Commission and of Switzerland’s FINMA, respectively.
Broker Yard, on the other hand, is a forex broker that claims to be based in Scotland, but does not provide any regulatory information. It does not appear on UK’s FCA Financial Services Register either.
