The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) reported on Tuesday it has excluded from the warning list four websites that provide forex trading services in the country as it had “inadvertently included“ them. These are www.aaafx.com, www.zulutrade.com, www.admiralmarkets.com, and www.yesfx.com.cy.
The websites were included in a warning list by the Cypriot regulator on 13 December, 2016. At the time, the CySEC warned against more than 100 forex and binary options brokers at once.
The watchdog maintains a list of websites that are authorized to offer financial services in Cyprus, as well as another one with non-approved domains. It also has a register with all licensed entities that fall under its regulation.
The CySEC licenses, supervises, and regulates capital market participants. Its managing board consists of five members, each one of which serves a term of five years.
