Financial software developer FX Blue has issued an update to its Personal Trade Copier and Internet Trade Mirror software for the trading platform MetaTrader 4 (MT4), the fintech said over the weekend. Among the key new features available are WaitForSeconds and WaitForProfitPips, which allow users to delay the copying of positions for a set time or until a minimum profit is achieved, respectively.

In addition, the software developer has introduced another new feature – MaxTradesPerDay which has the ability to control the maximum number of trades which are copied per day.

The update also features several other enhancements to the Personal Trade Copier and Internet Trade Mirror software. For instance, the two applications now carry the ability to control the trade copying using MT4 Global Variables, as well as the ability to set different lot-size multipliers for different symbols, using the CustomLotMultipliers setting.

The new software versions also brought improved memory usage and additional clarification and diagnostic information in the user guides. In addition, the handling of lost broker connections has also been improved. If MT4 loses its connection to the broker, the software does additional checks that it is receiving the complete list of open positions from the broker.

The Trade Mirror is sends trading signals over the internet to other computers (currently for MT4 only). The Personal Trade Copier duplicates orders between two or more instances of MT4 running on the same computer. Communication between the copies of MT4 is almost instant.

FX Blue previously operated as MT4i, but changed its name in June 2014 after it added support for platforms other than the MT4.

Its product portfolio consists of web publishing and analysis services used by traders in over 120 countries worldwide, and software development and services suitable for brokers, traders and developers. Most of the products are available as widgets, banners, dynamic and static charts, RSS feeds of open and recently-closed positions.

The developer’s flagship product FX Blue Live is a web-based service for analysis of trading results. The service supports the trading platforms MT4, MetaTrader 5 (MT5), cTrader, Oanda fxTrade, xOpenHub, Vertex FX, and FXCM TS2.
