Offshore forex broker FreshForex reported on Wednesday its clients reached a success rate of 66% in January 2017. This represents a very slight increase of a single percentage point from the preceding month.
The broker said full two-thirds of clients with deposit of at least $10,000 closed last month with a profit.
Although January is traditionally a rather slaw month, FreshForex’ clients traded actively. The most active trader executed 1,201 trades last month.
The best trading result registered by a single trader was $193,520. It was generated from trading forex pairs, both major and exotic ones. The same trader also had the highest growth rate in January of 1,121.43%.
Meanwhile, the best January trade generates a profit of $7,904 and was the result of a long 1.4-lot position on GBP/USD held over a period of 11 days.
In comparison, Forex Club, another forex brokerage, reported last week 27% of its clients closed January at a profit, while the success rate among traders with account balance of more than $10,000 was 57%.
